World Food Day was celebrated in our school with great enthusiasm and a positive outlook. The aim was to create awareness about healthy eating habits and the importance of nutritious food.
The tiny tots of Balvatika-1 and Classes KG to II celebrated the day in a special way. They brought healthy and nutritious lunch from home and shared it with their friends. The joy of sharing and caring was truly visible on their faces. A special video on the importance of healthy food and why junk food should be avoided was also shown to them.
For the students of Classes III to VIII, the class teachers gave an informative PPT presentation on healthy diet, food security and the need to avoid food wastage. Engaging videos were also shown to make the students understand the value of healthy food habits.
Overall, the day was informative and inspiring. The students learned that healthy food is the key to a healthy life.
Eat Healthy, Stay Healthy!
