A Special Assembly was organised by the students of Classes VI to VIII to commemorate the 80th Independence Day and mark the completion of 150 years of Vande Mataram. The programme commenced with an English speech delivered by Ishika Yadav of VIII-A, followed by a Hindi speech by Vaishnavi of VIII-B. Students of Classes VI to VIII presented melodious group songs, while the girls of Classes VI to VIII showcased a vibrant Lezim performance. All the presentations were well-coordinated and enthusiastically executed by the students. Adding to the spirit of the celebration, Kayra Upadhyay of KG-A recited a patriotic poem, while Aarohi Kashyap, also of KG-A, presented a role play portraying Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose.

The Managing Director (MD) of the school addressed the students and highlighted the significance of the day. The address inspired the students to uphold the values of patriotism, unity, discipline and responsibility. The celebrations extended beyond the Special Assembly, with the Pre-Primary Wing observing Independence Week through a range of patriotic activities, including songs, poems, and painting. Students of Classes III to V also participated enthusiastically by creating tricolour chains and wall hangings. These creative artworks were later used by the Art & Craft Team to decorate and enhance the school premises. As part of the awareness initiatives, students of Classes V to VIII attended a workshop on Chinese Manjha. The workshop sensitised students to its harmful effects on humans, birds, and animals and emphasised the importance of avoiding its use.

Overall, the Independence Day and Independence Week celebrations were marked by great enthusiasm, patriotism, and active participation. The collective efforts of students across different classes made the celebrations meaningful, engaging, and memorable, while fostering a strong sense of national pride and responsibility.
