World Senior Citizens’ Day Celebration

The Pre-Primary Wing celebrated World Senior Citizens’ Day with great zeal and warmth. The celebration was planned as a special role-play activity to help our young learners understand the importance of respecting and loving senior citizens, especially their grandparents.

The little ones came to school dressed as senior citizens—Dada, Dadi, Nana, and Nani—and joyfully portrayed their roles. Through this activity, the children got an opportunity to experience and appreciate the special bond shared with grandparents.

A heartwarming moment was recreated during dispersal when the children were fetched from school by their grandparents, on the request of the students. The sight of the little ones meeting their Dada, Dadi, Nana, and Nani filled the atmosphere with love and happiness. As a token of their affection and gratitude, the students also presented small gifts to their grandparents. The celebration was not merely an activity but a meaningful effort to inculcate love, respect, gratitude, and family values in our students from an early age. The school aims to strengthen the bond between children and their grandparents while encouraging them to follow the rich cultural traditions and values that form the foundation of our society.
